Outdoor Video Recorders VRX Series PDF Print E-mail

Unattended gates to residential communities, private access roads to residences, remote drive ways to sensitive infrastructures, campus access roads, large parking areas are just a few applications for the VRX video recorder series.

The VRX series offers an extremely reliable alternative to remote or central office video recording solutions over slow or wireless connections. If your central video recording system fails – everything may be lost...

The VRX series allows for a decentralized solution approach and takes video recording near the cameras, thereby increasing the quality, quantity and reliability of the recorded material, and provided a data connection is available, offers remote connectivity either through the Internet or a proprietary local area network connection. Using a broadband connection, the video recorder is accessible from virtually anywhere on the Internet.

Network IP-connectivity provides access for local as well as remote real-time viewing and video reviewing. A browser-based configuration interface makes system and recorder setup intuitive and easy. Configure the video recorder and view the video output using any popular Internet browser.

The video recorder features real-time viewing and on-line reviewing and replay of recorded material. Moreover, video material can be archived locally on the video recorder or can be downloaded and exported to your workstation for further processing and investigations. A sophisticated search and filter interface extracts any event from recorded material that may have been gathered up to a period of several weeks. Motion-detection based, continuous or conditional recoding is supported.

The VRX series comes with large storage capacities, ranging from 40GB to 200GB. Depending on the VRX model and the recording mode multiple cameras can be recorded.

The VRX video recorders are protected by a vandal-resistant, sturdy enclosure.

The small size of the video recorder evades easy detection and suits many mounting challenges. Wall-mount, pole-mount or universal mounting options are available.

The VRX can accommodate 12VDC and 48VDC (802.3a-f) Power-Over-Ethernet (POE) as well as 110-240VAC power supplies. With POE only one wire is required for power supply to the unit and access to the video recordings. Low power consumption makes the VRX an ideal candidate for solar-powered solutions.
